I had the chance to sew with my beautiful grand daughter Chloe for two days last week. She wanted to make a quilt after she finished her two frogs, and we got started on her center. Her theme is pink, blue We are not quite finished, we will add a border of cream and a second border of pink.
We had so much fun sewing in the sewing room upstairs while her brothers played video games downstairs.
Chloe's second quilt top will be for her twin brother Mason, blue and green nd animals are his choices.
As you can see, blue and pink seem to be her colors.
Chloe made the pink frog is for other Grand Ma.
The frog pattern is from my friend Jeri's Mom.
We fill them with rice and they are great warmed up the microwave for one minute to help with tight muscles.

How awesome! I want to teach my grandchildren to quilt someday! Have does other things and isn't interested in the sewing machine. I'm working Ethan up to it slowly. Maybe I'll put him in one of our classes....he's done the sewing classes but not quilting yet.
Precious times we have with our grand-darlings. Naomi was four when we made her dolly a quilt. I told her to be careful that we don't sew over pins. When she got to a pin she would stop sewing and wave her hands in the air and yelling "PINS".
Your friend, Jeri is also my friend. She has spoken so fondly of you for a very long time. I loved hearing about her trip to Germany.
This is wonderful! I look forward to times like this!
